Abandoned Photography

I started doing urbex photography in 2020 when the lockdown hit. It gave me a way to pass the time without being around groups of people. My two photographer friends, Rose Gaulin and Angela Nolan, helped me learn how to use my camera, edit photos, and get the right angles. We explored everything from desolate hospitals/ asylums/ schools/ houses and much more. Watching nature take back over an area was fascinating. Photography soon became a passion of mine, as well as exploring. I learned a lot about history through exploring abandoned buildings. Through my travels, I made more friends with this passion. Almost every day, my friends Will Cimmino, Connor Sturgeon, Rose, Angela, and I explored a different abandoned place. We drove around New England, mapping out everywhere we went and would go. It was a great way to finish my high school experience.
